The Solution
Charlie engaged the services of Sentinel Recruit and its founder, James McCormack. With 27 years of experience in the IT industry, James was uniquely positioned to understand E&P IT’s needs and requirements for the role.
James sat down with Charlie to gather a comprehensive understanding of the role’s responsibilities, the skills and qualifications required, and the personality traits and cultural fit they were seeking. This detailed briefing allowed James to go out to the market and find the ideal match. With over 140 applications for the 2nd Line Support Analyst role, James assessed multiple CV’s and Application letters. This got distilled down to a core of applicants who faced technical questioning to back up the claims made in their CV’s, as well as assessing their communication skills.
